Dr. Max Dahele is an Academic Radiation Oncologist in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the VU University Medical Centre (VUmc), Amsterdam. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Edinburgh and trained in Clinical Oncology at the Edinburgh Cancer Centre. He undertook Fellowships in Radiation Oncology at the University of Toronto (Princess Margaret Hospital and Odette Cancer Centre), before joining the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital Department of Clinical Oncology. His focus is the application of Advanced Radiotherapy Techniques, in particular Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT). He is collaborating with Professor Suresh Senan to develop the Radiaton Oncology Oligometastasis program at VUmc. He has complementary interests in Technology Implementation and Radiation Oncology Program Management.
