Repair methods 1 - Fixing a damaged letter

If we think about our short piece of DNA as a pair of chains with locks paired with keys, and hooks paired with eyes.
Imagine that one of the keys is damaged, for example because a gamma ray has broken it in two.
- One of the letters has been damaged.
This situation must be repaired. In this case the cell will fix the damaged key; welding the missing bit back on.
