At the NCRI meeting held in Liverpool. Professor Thomas Brunner was awarded one of two CR-UK Future Leaders Prizes.  The other went to Dr Sarah Martin from Queen Mary University London.  The Awards recognise early stage researchers who have already shown the potential to be tomorrow's leaders.  Thomas' citation recognised his clinical and research work, particularly in improving outcomes in pancreatic cancer.
